The Samsung J7 (2017) bearing the model number SM-J727V is expected to get officialy unveiled soon in 2017. The alleged smartphone is expected to be a successor phone of Galaxy J7 (2016) that was launched earlier this year.

Design and Display
The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) will be sporting a 5.5-inch full HD display that will provide a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It also expected to come with a metal body unibody like its predecessor.
Leaked renders suggest that the 2017 edition will feature a black color horizontal metallic strip on its rear side. The Galaxy J7 (2016) also features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED full HD display that carries a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. The 2016 model measures 151.7 x 76 x 7.8 mm and on the other hand its successor is expected to measure 151.3 x 76.2 x 8 mm.
Chipset, Storage and RAM
The Galaxy J7 (2017) will be receiving power from Exynos processor. There is no information on the exact model number of the Exynos chipset and its exact storage capacity. It is rumored to arrive with 3 GB of RAM, BGR reported. It is also expected to arrive in Snapdragon chipset variant.
The Galaxy J7 (2016) comes in Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 and Exynos 7870 chipset variants for varied markets. It has 2 GB of RAM with 16 GB internal storage. Its further storage can be extended with a maximum of 256 GB of microSD card.
Software and Camera
The Wi-Fi certification of Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) has revealed that it will be running on Android's latest OS version 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.The Galaxy J7 (2016) comes pre-installed with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.
The Galaxy J7 (2016) is equipped with 13-megapixel rear camera and front camera of 5-megapixel. The Galaxy J7 (2017) is expected to arrive with cameras of same configuration.

The Galaxy J7 (2016) is packed with 3,300 mAh battery and its successor is expected to include a smaller battery of 3,000 mAh.
The Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017) is expected to be priced at $201.35 while Samsung Galaxy J7 (2016) is available at the price of $239.
Samsung has not yet declared the final price of Galaxy J7 (2017) as still it is in under production. Its price will be unveiled once it gets an official announcement in first quarter of 2017.
