"How to Get Away with Murder" Season 3 is returning on Jan. 19 with big revelations and shocking twists and turns surrounding Wes Gibbins' (Alfred Enoch) death. The new season will also see the fate of Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) turning upside down after she was jailed and charged with arson.

Several mysteries are expected to be unfolded when "How to Get Away with Murder" Season 3 returns. One is, what incidences led to Wes' death, who burned Annalise's house, and who is the father of Laurel's (Karla Souza) baby? Despite Wes' death, viewers will still be able to see him through flashbacks.
"For sure," Alfred Enoch, who plays Wes told TVLine. "There will be surprises because there's a big mystery hanging over him: What happened between the police station and him ending up dead?"
Enoch also teased that "How to Get Away with Murder" Season 3 will reveal his true relationship with Annalise or the identity of the killer. He assured that fans of the Shonda Rhimes ABC drama would surely be surprised when they find out the real mystery behind Wes.
As to who killed Wes, viewers could only guess the culprit until the season premieres. Some of the names that surfaced as the probable killer to Wes, include Charles Mahoney's (Adam Arkin) mother, Connor Walsh (Jack Falahee) and Frank Delfino (Charlie Weber).
Moreover, the series creator Pete Nowalk assured that viewers would be able to know what happened to Wes when he left the police station. Things would be revealed slowly in the upcoming episodes through flashbacks. He also promised to bring the identity of the murderer at the end of "How to Get Away with Murder" Season 3.
The upcoming season will pick up hours after the winter finale, according to TV Guide. Annalise would have more time to evaluate her feelings towards Frank while she is behind bars. Michaela's mom Trishelle (Brett Butler) would be having an important part this season.
