A formerly overweight Houston woman is making headlines on social media for revealing she lost 103 pounds after finding out about her cheating husband and lover who both mocked her for being fat.
The woman, Betsy Ayala, shared pictures of her amazing transformation on her Instagram account. The various photos showed several "before" and "after" shots of Ayala.

The 34-year-old marketing manager was at her heaviest at 262 pounds in 2013 after she gave birth to her daughter Isabella. She also had to battle post-partum depression thereafter.
Half a year later, she discovered her husband's philandering. Even worse, she uncovered messages from him and his lover spitefully mocking her.
Spurred by the unsavory revelation and after a divorce, she begun working out with her sister while dramatically cutting her intake of sweets. However, Ayala-now sporting a sleek 159-pound figure after her dramatic transformation-also admitted her path to good health was not an easy one at all in the beginning.
"I was still over 200 pounds with a 6-month-old and everything that I had worked for had just vanished," she told the Daily Mail in an interview.
Ayala even revealed she would often use to cry after working out, angered by her ex-husband's unfaithfulness. However, she said she ultimately stuck with the program because she wanted to ultimately make her daughter proud while teaching her a thing or two about being resilient.
"I wanted her to be proud of her mum and I wanted to be an example for her", she said, adding that she has since been on much better terms with her ex-husband.
In the end, the now-single mother expressed her gratefulness for encountering such a challenging trial. According to her, she was able to use the ordeal to turn herself into a better person overall and not just physically.
As for other people who have fallen in the same rut as she had, Ayala shared with ABC13 some of the tips she found helpful during her weight-loss journey. They include remaining consistent with exercise, eating healthy, staying active, having a strong support system, and never losing focus on one's goal.
