There are only few "Making a Murderer" Season 2 spoilers coming out recently, but Steven Avery's lawyer Kathleen Zellner has been consistent in giving updates about her client's case. In her latest social media post, she confirmed that her goal in 2017 is to set Avery free.

"Making a Murderer" Season 2 filming is in progress, which is expected to unveil more evidences that would prove that the "Making a Murderer" star is innocent in the 2005 killing of Teresa Halbach. In Zellner's Twitter post, she wrote that she is determined to set all her wrongfully convicted clients, including Avery in 2017.

Zellner, one of the most popular appeal lawyers in America, will bring more suspects in the case. Avery's lawyer will present other suspects that may include Halbach's then-boyfriend or a serial killer during that time when Season 2 returns, Cheat Sheet reported.

After confirming "Making a Murderer" Season 2, series creators Moira Demos and Laura Ricciardi revealed that the show is proceeding with the development of the case. Prosecutor Ken Kratz, who has been controversial since the first run of the docuseries, revealed that a lot of evidences have been missing in the ten-part series.

Kratz was invited to appear in the original series, but the show's creators were given a subpoena to stop him from participating in "Making a Murderer." The prosecutor has spoken with the media outlets about Avery's use of a different name in meeting Halbach and the DNA evidence in Halbach's car, according to Independent.

Zellner has since confirmed that she is going to use the modern technology to reevaluate the evidences against Avery. The Swedish Medical University Karolinska Institute researchers will be utilizing radioactive carbon-dating. It would reportedly prove whether the blood stains were fake and planted. All these updates are expected to be seen in "Making a Murderer" Season 2.

No release date is scheduled yet for the second run of the true crime drama. There is a speculation that the premiere date may coincide with Zellner's appeal for Avery that is due on August 29. Watch the Season 2 leaked trailer below:
