In episode 12 "The Holiday Summation," each couple revealed what they did during the holidays. Sheldon and Amy visited Sheldon's mother and informed her about their live-in arrangement. Sheldon even got his ear pierced which caused him a lot of pain. Meanwhile, Leonard and Penny's Christmas took an unexpected turn when they found out that the tree that they painstakingly chopped and got home has an animal living in it. Meanwhile, Bernadette and Howard deal with parenting issues and try to adapt to the new member in their family.
According to International Business Times, "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 will take a small break this week and return with episode 13 titled "The Romance Recalibration" next week. It will reportedly be the last episode airing in the week of January until it returns from another hiatus in February.
Meanwhile, the website reveals that "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10 episode 13 will see Penny and Leonard struggle with a misunderstanding which causes tension between the couple. Penny thinks Leonard is taking her for granted. In order to make Leonard realise his mistake, Penny decides to leave him alone on the weekend and take Amy for a spa session. As for Leonard, he might approach his friends to deal with the problem.
The network is yet to release a promo video for the upcoming episode. It is expected to be out soon.
