New details and spoilers for "Avengers: Infinity War" will feature Spider-Man's inclusion to the film and possible characters for Peter Dinklage in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It seems that "Into the Heart of the Sea" star Tom Holland confirmed that Peter Parker/Spider-Man will be part of "Avengers: Infinity War" after Twitter username TomHollandItaly tweeted a translated text from his interview with Vogue Magazine Italy.
According to the translated text, Holland stated that it was Robert Downey Jr. and Chris Evans who convinced Marvel to have him in "Avengers: Infinity War" as the producers wanted to be sure that Holland was the right man before he is entrust with three films for the rest of the four years.
It is unknown yet as what kind of role will Spider-Man will play in "Avengers: Infinity War" as the sequel will have all sorts of characters from the MCU joining the fight against Thanos (Josh Brolin) from the original Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy to the debuting Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel (Brie Larson).
Holland Holland confirmed in an interview that he will appear in six Marvel films in the MCU, three will be "Spider-Man" and the rest are separate appearance possibly indicating that Peter will be part the Avengers.
In other news, "Game of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage has been added to the MCU and will have an important role in "Avengers: Infinity War".
It is unknown yet what kind of role will Dinklage play in the "Avengers" sequel, but this is not the first time he played a Marvel character as Dinklage portrayed the role of scientist and Sentinel creator Dr. Bolivar Trask from "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and is the second person to have played two different Marvel Characters from two different studios namely Fox and Marvel Studios, with Chris Evans being the first from Johnny Storm/Human Torch in the "Fantastic Four" and Steve Rogers/Captain America in the "Captain America" and "Avengers" films.
Many fans speculated that Dinklage could play the MCU version of MODOK as screenwriter Christopher Markus who is crucially, one half of the writing team for "Infinity War" wanted to have the villain in the films during the time "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" is being planned, Screenrant reported.
Another speculated that Dinklage's character could be Pip the troll, who has an important role in the Marvel comics during the "Inifnity Gauntlet" and "Infinity Crusade" crossover storylines. Other characters being hinted include Uatu the Watcher, Lord Chaos/Master Order, a Celestial, Starfox, and Red Hulk, ComicBook reported.
"Avengers: Infinity War" is slated to be release on May 4, 2018, while the fourth film is scheduled on May 3, 2019.
