The latest details for "Overwatch" will feature new updates on loot boxes and saving highlight gameplays within the game.
Blizzard Entertainment announced several changes for "Overwatch" as game director Jeff Kaplan revealed in a post from the game's forum that they are developing features that will allow players to save their gameplay highlights after the match.
However, gaming fans may need to wait a bit longer before they can save their highlights because Kaplan added that there is currently no release window for when this feature will arrive.
This is not too surprising given that Kaplan has previously stated that a highlights saving feature is not high up on Blizzard’s priority list, especially now with the team currently busy working on new "Overwatch" content updates and addressing reports of cheating players.
Meanwhile, players can now easily purchase loot boxes in the upcoming patch update as Blizzard guaranteed that they will not have a hard time getting items within "Overwatch".
The first update is called "Simple Checkout", in which players now have more options of how they can pay their purchases in "Overwatch".
The next update is about decreased volume of cars in Oasis background in Hero Gallery. In addition, the upcoming patch allows the players to resurrect whenever they die in any locations in the map with the help of Mercy.
There is also a bug fix regarding Sombra's problem of roaming around the restricted areas in the map and the update will fix the problem with the garden point in Oasis from being covered by the second floor walkway above it, PC GamesN reported.
Previous reports revealed that possibly "Valentine's Day" event for "Overwatch" soon.
Reddit username akhanubis posted several voice lines on the game's subreddit page, which were data mined from the game’s public test realm. These lines are from "Overwatch‘s" upcoming update, and features three characters Mercy, Genji and Hanzo.
The first voice line focuses on a conversation between Genji and Hanzo, in which Genji asks his brother if he has any chocolates to which Hanzo replies that “Those were your amusements, not mine". The next line will come from Mercy who offers Genji chocolates of his own. “Swiss – they’re the best,” Mercy says before Genji suggests they share them. The mini story wraps up with Genji gifting Mercy chocolates, too. Though she is slightly disappointed they are not Swiss, she thanks him kindly.
Based on the conversation, many gaming fans believed that both Genji and Mercy are a couple in "Ovewatch". This type of reaction is common in the community, as countless players have often questioned whether certain relationships could be canon in-game, and some even hoping for these pairings to be revealed and confirmed by Blizzard.
"Overwatch" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
