"Girl Meets World" Season 4 will say goodbye to fans on Friday, Jan. 20.
Ahead of the "Girl Meets Goodbye" release, TV Line released a photo from one of the scenes from the Disney Channel TV show.
In the snap, Cory Matthews (Ben Savage) is seen talking to his daughter, Riley (Rowan Blanchard), as well as Riley's friends. Each and every one of them has a sad look on their faces.
According to the publication, while Topanga (Danielle Fishel) is deciding on whether or not she should accept the job offer in England, Cory will ask the kids to recall some of the most memorable experiences they have shared with each other. Doing this will also serve as a look back for fans on all of the biggest episodes from "Girl Meets World" for the past four seasons.
Meanwhile, "Girl Meets Goodbye" will also see the return of some of the cast members from "Boy Meets World." They will also play a crucial role in helping Riley and Maya (Sabrina Carpenter) decide on what they should do with their friendship.
In other news, series creator Michael Jacobs previously told the same publication that there are talks underway for a possible Season 5 renewal. However, if "Girl Meets World" will be a go, it will not be on Disney Channel anymore.
"There are talks underway, but we are the very, very beginning stages. And I can tell you that it is because of the audience's reaction to the cancellation that there is interest in other places. For anyone in show business, if you ask then why they are doing something and they say they are doing it for themselves, they will not sustain long. Those that answer we are doing it for the audience and mean it, they sustain it," he said.
"Girl Meets World" Season 4 finale will air on Disney Channel on Friday, Jan. 20 at 6 p.m. EST.
Next: Goodbye. 71 episodes about friendship, and now 1 episode about how that friendship has influenced someone else when it counts most.
