Defending champions Juventus FC (15-4-0, 45 points) will look to redeem themselves from their poor performance in the previous round of the 2016-2017 Serie A season as they face capital city club SS Lazio (12-4-4, 40 points) at the Juventus Stadium on Sunday, Jan. 22.

Juventus snapped a four-game winning streak after a 1-2 defeat in the hands of middling squad Fiorentina on the road at the Artemio Franchi Stadium last Sunday, as per Goal.
Viola opened the scoring in the 37th minute with a right-footed shot by Croatian forward Nikola Kalinic from the right side of the box off an assist by teammate Federico Bernardeschi. The hosts then doubled their lead in the 54th with a goal by Croatian midfielder Milan Badelj via a strike from 35 yards out.
Head coach Massimiliano Allegri's side was able to trim the lead to one point four minutes later with a goal by Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuaín with the assist coming from Stefano Sturaro, but Juve failed to find the equalizer as time ran out to succumb to their fourth loss of the season.
Despite the loss, Juve remained in the top spot of the league table, only a point ahead of second-running club AS Roma.
Meanwhile, Lazio defeated fellow contending team Atalanta, 2-1, last Sunday in a match held at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome to win their second straight game, via Sofa Score.
Atalanta netted the first goal of the match in the 21st minute with a right-footer by Italian forward Andrea Petagna off a cross from Swiss midfielder Remo Freuler.
I Biancocelesti was able to level the count in the first half injury time with a goal from Serbian winger Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to enter the break at 1-1.
Italian striker Ciro Immobile scored the winning goal with a penalty kick in the 68th to hand head coach Simone Inzaghi's squad their fourth victory in their last five outings.
