It is no news that BTS is one of today's top Kpop idols across the globe. However, fans would be surprised to know that the seven-member boy group could have been extremely different that what it is today.

Just like any other group, BTS actually went through several member changes before the final line-up was established in 2012. From Supreme Boi to Loco, here are the eight Kpop idols who could have debuted as BTS members, according to Korean newsoutlet Instiz.

1. Supreme Boi
Supreme Boi, whose real name is Shin Donghyuk, was actually one of the founding members of BTS before their official debut in 2013.

2. IRON
Jung Hunchul, better known as IRON, was also part of the group's original line-up before he decided to leave, in order to concentrate on his solo career. He received a great deal of attention after he placed 2nd on Mnet's rap competition "Show Me The Money 3," topping several music charts with the tracks "I AM " and "Poison."

3. Beenzino
Beenzino, who is noted for his melodic style of rapping, has revealed he turned down the offer to debut as BTS member, Korea Boo reported. Instead, he debuted as a solo artist and became well-known through his single track "Dali, Van, Picasso."

4. Basick
Like Beenzino, Basick was also offered a position in the group, only to turn the offer down. After he won the fourth season of Mnet's "Show Me the Money," the 30-year-old rapper released his first mini album titled "Nice."

5. Loco
Loco, who won the first season of Mnet's "Show Me the Money," also had the chance to join the group. Unfortunately, he did not make it into the final cut.

6. Reddy
Just like Loco, Reddy initially auditioned for the chance to join BTS. However, he failed to make the cut.

7. Kidoh
Kidoh, 24, got his start as a trainee at Big Hit Entertainment. Along with Rap Monster, Kidoh prepared to debut as part of BTS before he left and joined Topp Dogg in 2013.

8. Boy's Republic's Suwoong
Boy's Republic member Suwoong, 21, had originally been trained to become a vocalist and dancer under BTS for about a year.
