The upcoming "Teen Wolf" Season 6 episode 9 will force Scott's (Tyler Posey) team to split up, with one group set to keep the Ghost Riders preoccupied while another will try to find a way to rescue Stiles (Dylan O'Brien). Latest spoiler news also teased of an experiment and a mysterious machine that might help open a portal into the villainous riders' lair.
Scott and the remaining members of his pack face the big challenge of finding a solution to defeating the Ghost Riders and rescuing all of the people that they abducted. However, time is running out for the MTV show's protagonists as the supernatural villains continue their Wild Hunt spree to capture beloved "Teen Wolf" characters including all of Beacon Hills' residents.
In the latest preview clip for "Teen Wolf" Season 6 episode 9, as posted on MTV, Scott, Lydia (Holland Roden) and Malia (Shelley Hennig) are busy trying to secure all of the entry and exit points of what appears to be the Argents' underground bunker. Hoping that the Ghost Riders will not be able to enter the tunnel while they attempt a dangerous experiment, the trio heads to a freezing chamber located inside the room.
Previously used to temporarily contain the Hellhound in "Teen Wolf" Season 5, Parish's (Ryan Kelley) time inside the said chamber led him to discover more about his past, how he acquired his supernatural abilities and his Hellhound persona. In the upcoming episode titled "Memory Found," Scott will attempt to do the same experiment to tap his memories of Stiles while in a cold-induced hypnotic regression session.
However, operating the machine might be a daunting task for the trio. Malia may have discovered the switch to turn the freezing chamber on, but the various dials on the side of the said device might be too confusing for Scott and Lydia to figure out.
Left without any choice but to use the machine to access their missing memories, the three friends will proceed with their plan to regain all their memories to open a supernatural rift to save Stiles. Meanwhile, Liam (Dylan Sprayberry) and Theo (Cody Christian) will try to lure the Ghost Riders away from Scott, Lydia and Malia, according to episode spoilers posted on Spoilers Guide.
"Teen Wolf" Season 6 episode 9 will be released on Jan. 24, Tuesday on MTV. Watch the teaser clip below:
