The 2017 Royal Rumble Match is shaping up to be the most star-studded in history and the WWE could be planning several surprise entrants. The latest rumors have revealed three huge names that might enter the Royal Rumble Match this Sunday at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
As of this writing, the Royal Rumble Match has 21 confirmed superstars that include legends like The Undertaker, Brock Lesnar, Bill Goldberg and The Big Show, per WWE.com. Raw superstars in the match are headed by The New Day, Braun Strowman, Chris Jericho, Sami Zayn, Cesaro, Sheamus, Big Cass and Rusev.
On the other hand, SmackDown superstars already in the Royal Rumble Match include Dean Ambrose, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, The Wyatt Family and Baron Corbin. It is expected that several superstars from the blue brand will join the Rumble Match.
According to Cageside Seats, Samoa Joe will make his main roster debut at the Royal Rumble. He is surely a surprise entrant since he has not made any appearances on NXT since losing to Shinsuke Nakamura in their NXT title rematch.
Another huge name rumored to be making his debut at the Royal Rumble is Kenny Omega. In an appearance on The Taz Show podcast, Omega revealed that his deal with NJPW expired right after Wrestle Kingdom 11 and he could sign with the WWE as long as he likes their plans for him.
"A couple guys were under unique deals, and I was one of them. So it has essentially given me a time to be free. Right now I am free to make my own decisions, and I am accepting feelers, and I'm negotiating for the best scenario for me right now," Omega said.
"The Cleaner" also teased his appearance during an autograph signing for fans. He included the "#30" on his autograph and one fan posted it on Instagram. It should be noted that John Cena has also been teasing Omega's WWE debut on his own Instagram account.

Finally, the third superstar who might be a surprise entrant in this year's Royal Rumble is Kurt Angle. The soon-to-be WWE Hall of Famer was recently pulled out from his 5 Star Wrestling appearance on January 29, per Wrestling Inc. Many fans believe that the WWE will bring him in at this Sunday's Royal Rumble Match.
Nevertheless, these are just purely speculative at the moment and nothing has been confirmed. The WWE is looking to became more unpredictable and this year's Royal Rumble Match is clearly full of surprises.
