"Claws" is set in a South Florida nail salon where a lot more is going on than silk wraps and pedicures, TV Line reported. It follows the rise of five diverse and treacherous manicurists working at the Nail Artisan of Manatee County.

"A Little Bit of Heaven" helmer Nicole Kassell is directing "Claws" with "Welcome to Me" writer Eliot Laurence penning the script as well as co-executive producing. Other executive producers include Rashida Jones, Will McCormack, and Janine Sherman, who also serves as the showrunner. Jones and McCormack's Le Train Train is producing in association with Warner Horizon Television and Turner's Studio T.

Joining Norris on "Claws" are co-stars Nash (Desna), "The Good Wife" actress Carrie Preston (Polly), "Lost" actor Harold Perrineau (Dean), "Phil Spector" actress Jenn Lyon (Jennifer/Jen), and "Devious Maids" actress Judy Reyes (Quiet Ann). "The Throwaways" alum Jack Kesy (Roller), "3-Headed Shark Attack" Karrueche Tran (Virginia), "Breaking Bad" actor Kevin Rankin (Bryce), and "Minority Report" actor Jason Antoon (Dr. Ken Brickman) are also on board.

In the plot of "Claws," Desna lives with and cares for her mentally ill twin brother Dean. Her staff includes a tenuously sober ex-party girl, mother of two, and best friend Jennifer; Quiet Ann, who is Desna's mysterious driver and also provides security for the salon; a mild-mannered preppy ex-con Polly, who served time for identity theft; and Virginia, who makes no effort to hide her boredom and impatience with her job.

Norris is known for his roles on AMC's "Breaking Bad" and CBS' "Under the Dome." He recently took a comedic turn with an arc on CBS' "The Big Bang Theory." He is represented by CAA and Industry Entertainment.
