Scarlett Johansson seems to be on friendly terms with her estranged husband. Barely 24 hours after the news of their split hit the media, the actress and her French husband, Romain Dauriac, were seen together attending an art exhibition in New York City.
The duo was spotted on the night of Jan. 25, Wednesday, happily posing for photos together and with friends at the Simon Lee Gallery event, where Dauriac was one of the organizers of the show. While the 32-year-old beauty rocked an all-black ensemble of a collared shirt tucked into faded denim pants, her rumored estranged husband added a grey jacket to his otherwise simple black outfit, Daily Mail reported.
The actress seemed to put on a united front with Dauriac amidst the news that she had parted ways from her husband after two years of marriage. The mother-of-one, who was previously married to Ryan Reynolds, attempted to keep her ring finger hidden from cameras at the event, but appeared to be without the band.
Earlier in the day, a source told People that the couple has split and was living separately since last summer. It was also reported that it was the actress, who ended the relationship since she felt like they did not have much in common in terms of their lifestyle.
The "Avengers" star and Dauriac started dating in the fall of 2012. Shortly after the birth of their first and only child, Rose Dorothy, they married in a secret ceremony at the Ranch at Rock Creek in Philipsburg, Montana, in October 2014. Following the nuptials, the new family reportedly went to Paris where they resumed a private life.
Despite the split, Johansson and Dauriac are expected to have an amicable relationship and plan to co-parent their child. The two also remain to be business partners as they co-own the popcorn brand Yummy Pop. They were photographed together in December 2016 at the grand opening party of their Yummy Pop popcorn store at the famed Theatre du Gymnase in Paris.
