New details and spoilers for "Avengers: Infinity War" will feature Guardians of the Galaxy member Mantis in the sequel and Peter Dinklage possible role in the film.
It seems that another Marvel character will be added to the cast of "Avengers: Infinity War" as Guardians of the Galaxy member Mantis (Pom Klementieff) will likely join her teammates to fight Thanos (Josh Brolin) along with Earth;s Mightiest heroes.
Klementieff posted several photos on her Intragram account with one having a #Infinitywar on it. Mantis will appear first in "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" alongside Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Gamora (Zoey Saldana), Drax (Dave Bautista), Rocket (Bradley Cooper) and Groot (Vin Diesel). Mantis will be accompanying her father Ego the Living Planet (Kurt Russell), making Star-Lord her haft-brother.
Mantis in the Marvel comics has also became a member of the Avengers for a short time and with the film focusing on them defeating Thanos will likely set her to become a member of the group possibly in phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Entertainment Weekly reported.
"Guardians of the Galaxy" star Vin Diesel previously teased that Groot will likely fight Avenger member Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).
The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy will team-up to take on the Mad Titan Thanos, who has the power to wipe out the universe using his Infinity Gauntlet along with the Infinity Stones.
Diesel also claims that there have been talks of some sort of solo spin-off for Groot, though it does not sound like anything concrete is in place. Still, with talks of Rocket Raccoon getting a movie recently, it would not be too strange to imagine those two getting their own adventure somewhere further down the line,
Meanwhile, new clues on "Game of Thrones" star Peter Dinklage's character in "Avengers: Infinity War" have been teased as Twitter username Mundo Vengador tweeted a photo of Dinklage sporting a new hair style and color hinting that he could be playing Pip the Troll in the MCU.
Pip the troll had an important role in the Marvel comics during the "Inifnity Gauntlet" and "Infinity Crusade" crossover storylines. Other fan speculations hinted that Dinklage could also play other Marvel characters such as MODOK, Uatu the Watcher, Lord Chaos/Master Order, a Celestial, Starfox, and Red Hulk, ComicBook reported.
"Avengers: Infinity War" is slated to be release on May 4, 2018, while the fourth film is scheduled on May 3, 2019.
