In the midst of improving hybrid compatibility of smartphones and smartwatches, the Swedish Anima is set to raise the bar higher as it introduces the Kronaby Collection, which provides both a classy wristwatch and a smart wearable that is backed with two-year battery life.
More hybrid smartwatch are beginning to enter the tech market, which offers more functionality when doubled with smartphone. In the Kronaby Collection, its four models will offer features such as filtered notifications, music control and a camera remote, Wareable reported.
The four classic models are known as the Apex, Sekel, Nord and Carat, which will be released both in Android and iOS operating system.
Co-founder of Kronaby Sarandis Kalogeropulos emphasized how Kronaby smartwatches will put the efficiency of technology on the hands of these modular timepieces. He said: "Kronaby is most importantly an authentic timepiece, and with our technology on the inside it can do more than time keeping. We want to bring back the experience of truly living in one moment, focusing on the here and now and let people experience more in life. Taking the connected watch into the future and making technology work for people."
MobiViki further expanded on the Kronaby's new line of smartwatches and their features, which focuses on improved battery life, filtered notifications, and alarm capabilities.
Its physical design is reminiscent of both functionality and classic style. According to reports, Kronaby connected watches are not strictly smart watches, but analog watches equipped with smart features.
These watches even include features such as vibrating alarm, vibrating notifications and a vibrating reminder to get moving. With Filtered notifications, users should be notified with important updates while keeping their phones out of sight.
Furthermore, the Kronaby watches keep track of the user's movement, as displayed on the watch face. It even includes alert function when users sit for a long amount of time. The pushers on the right side of the Kronaby connected watches let users configure simple tasks on the watches such as music control, camera remote and geotagging.
The Kronaby watches are pegged at a price range between €345 and €595, and right now, pre-orders are open. Watches will start shipping on March 31.
