Kanye West has been dissed recently and it came from none other than U.S. President Barack Obama. President Obama recently appeared on the show "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" where he opened up about his relationship with the rapper.
On Thursday night at the show, the President and the late night show's host talked about a wide range of subjects including his daughters banned from social media to recent events in Ferguson to racism. One of the most interesting portions of the show came when President Obama denied having any close relationship with rapper West and his wife Kim Kardashian.
Earlier, West had dropped President's Obama's name casually while claiming that he has an amazing relationship with some of the big personalities.
"I understand that I'm a servant. And with my voice, with my ability to build relationships with amazing people, speak to amazing people," said West while speaking at the Museum of Natural History on March 2. "Call Elon Musk out of the blue or call Obama out of the blue ... he calls the home phone, by the way."
Although West mentioned the home phone jokingly, he did imply during the speech that he and Obama are very tight and have a great relationship.
Clearing the air on the "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" show, Obama denied any closeness with the reality TV's couple. On being quizzed about the matter, President Obama said that he had met the rapper only twice in his life, once when "he was a senator and a second time as President," New York Daily News reported. President Obama's distaste for reality TV, social media and glamour is well known. Back in July last year, Obama had said in an interview that he feels Kardashian and West have negatively impacted children's views of the world, Fox News reported.
