"Stranger Things" Season 2 will soon premiere on Netflix, but the Millie Bobby Brown starrer is bound to only last until the fourth or fifth season.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the Duffer brothers said that they originally want "Stranger Things" to last only within four to five years. However, things could change depending on what the fans and the streaming site wants.
Matt Duffer added that he wants the ending of "Stranger Things" to be really strong and impactful. This is the very reason why they want to keep things short because they do not want to prolong a show just because they want to stay on air when the stories are no longer exciting.
Meanwhile, Ross Duffer dished on what is in store for the characters in Season 2. He said that they the ending for the second season is expected to serve as a conclusion for the entire show thus far. However, they also have storylines lined up for Seasons 3 to 5.
In the upcoming episodes, Will, who went missing in Season 1, will start having visions about the things that happened to him in the Upside Down. Since he does not have any actual memories from his stay there, he will question whether or not the images in his head are true or false.
Will's mom, Joyce, is not much help either. She will try to conceal information from Will as much as he can because she is worried about his future. She will also be preoccupied with dating Bob, and the latter will serve as a good father figure for her two boys.
"Stranger Things" Season 2 will premiere on Netflix sometime in November.
