The promo shows Lavenda as this tricky fighter, however, Gohan will show his powers and what he is capable of in the battle. Kicker Basil can be seen overpowering Gohan and one of the scenes shows Gohan blinded and pinned down.

The latest spoilers have come in indicating the arrival of old Gohan who surpassed his own father. This new Gohan looks powerful, promising and super serious.
According to a scoop provided by Herms98, the new design images reveal the ultimate Gohan and his dormant power has been unlocked.
Universe 7 has won the first round and now they are ready for the second round. Gohan faces warrior Lavenda from Universe 9. However, Lavenda manages to blind Gohan using the poison mist. Now, Gohan is unable to Lavenda's ki and he is up for tough one in front of him.
Lavenda, also known as Venomous Lavenda, is the second-oldest brother in the Trio of Dangers. Gohan is in a difficult position after being unable to identify the ki, it will be interesting to see his counterattack.
"The showdown between Majin Buu and Universe 9's Basil in the first round of the Omni-Present Match has begun. Basil's kick techniques connect one after the other, and Universe 9's Kaioshin is certain of his victory, but Buu hasn't taken any damage," reads the summary.
