A couple of new LeEco devices were revealed online through the Chinese telecommunication regulatory board TENAA. The latest information suggests that both smartphones will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 in Barcelona.
In the TENAA database, image renders of the purported LeEco Le 2S and Le 2S Dual have revealed the key specs and physical design of the phones. Furthermore, the LeEco Le 2S and Le 2S Dual SIM will bear the model name "LEX656" and "LEX659," respectively
The listing suggests that both the smartphone will sport the same display sizes and resolutions, dimensions and battery capacity. Following the TENAA listing, the LeEco Le 2S and Le 2S Dual smartphone will feature a 5.5-inch 1080p displays, GizmoChina reported. It will both weigh 168g and will measure 152.4 x 75.1 x 7.5mm. On the battery information, the said smartphones will house the same 3900mAh battery.
Under the hood, the Le 2S device "LEX656" will feature a 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a 2.3GHz deca-core processor. Based on reports, the "LEX659" device will be marketed as the higher-end variant as it features a Dual Sim support.
In its optics department, the smartphones will feature a dual rear camera setup that includes a pair of 13-megapixel sensors with Dual LED flash. Up front, the devices will sport an 8-megapixel front-snapper for selfies and video conferencing. Right below the rear camera, a fingerprint scanner can be spotted.
Both the LeEco Le 2S and Le 2S Dual will offer connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, gravity sensor, distance sensor and light sensor. On the software front, the phones will ship the Android 6.0 Marshmallow with EUI layered on top of it. As per TENAA's listing, both smartphones will be available in gold, red, silver, white, gray, and five other colors.
According to Mobile Indian, LeEco Le 2S Dual smartphone, carrying the model name "LEX659," was also spotted in a Chinese retailer pegged at a price tag of CNY 1,000, which is approximately Rs 9,729. The only difference with the TENAA listing is that the said smartphone features a 12-megapixel sensor.
The Chinese company has not release the said phones' availability, although this information may be revealed at the MWC 2017 event.
