In "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 episode 14 titled "Moonshot," Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) will be stranded on the moon. His will put his life in danger.
The Legends will track Commander Steel to NASA headquarters in 1970 in "Moonshot." They will learn where the last fragment of the Spear of Destiny was hidden by the grandfather of Nate Heywood (Nick Zano).
The team will notice a time aberration during the Apollo 13 mission. They will conclude that the Legion of Doom has something to do with it.
In order to intercept Apollo 13, the Legends will journey into space. Elsewhere, the Waverider will suffer massive internal damage.
After "Moonshot," the Legends land in France during World War I in "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 episode 15 titled "Fellowship of the Spear," which will air on March 21. They will enlist the aid of J.R.R. Tolkien (Jack Turner) to retrieve the last pieces of the Spear of Destiny from the Legion of Doom.
In "Legends of Tomorrow" Season 2 episode 16 titled "Doomworld," the Legion of Doom will rewrite history after obtaining the Spear of Destiny. This will potentially change the Legends forever.
Doomsworld can be the perfect world for the Legion. The new reality is complete with personalized punishments for the Legends.
"For the Legends, it's very different," Entertainment Weekly quoted Routh as saying of Doomsworld. "None of us have our abilities and powers. Ray is a janitor for S.T.A.R. Labs, and the world is being run by insane crazy people, so, yeah, it's a bit of the worst nightmare."
