OnePlus, Colette ties to launch Limited Edition OnePlus 3T; Device comes with ‘all-black’ finish, 128GB memory

Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus and Paris-based fashion boutique Collete have collaborated to produce a special OnePlus 3T limited edition, which is designed with matte black color coupled with 128GB internal memory.

The OnePlus 3T Collete edition is generally marketed with its "all-black" color palette, and arrived in celebration of the world-renowed boutique Colette's 20^th anniversary. The said OnePlus variant will be different from other OnePlus 3T in terms of color and Colette's brand logo situated on the device's rear panel. In the past rumors, the company was originally speculated to launch a Blue variant of the OnePlus 3T.

According to NDTV, the limited edition Colette OnePlus 3T device will only be available at the Colette store in Paris, France at the eve of its official launch. Reports suggest that the OnePlus 3T Collete edition will go on sale from 11am (GMT +1) at the Colette store through a pop-up shop.

The OnePlus 3T Colette edition is pegged at EUR 479 (roughly Rs. 33,500), and will be offered by only 250 units. In addition, the first customers who will be able to purchase the OnePlus 3T Colette edition will also get a free set of the OnePlus Bullets V2 earphones.

OnePlus Founder and CEO Pete Lau officially announced the limited Colette edition of the OnePlus 3T. He said in a statement: "We're introducing this striking black version of the OnePlus 3T with Colette, highlighting our focus on beautiful design and the strictest attention to detail. Our friends at Colette understand refinement and good taste better than anybody, so we're very proud to be partnering with them to offer this special edition of our flagship phone."

Sara Andelman, Co-founder of Colette, also addressed the company's shared idea with OnePlus on producing a stylish new OnePlus phone. She said: "We're happy to be partnering with OnePlus to offer this special edition of the OnePlus 3T for Colette's 20thanniversary. The OnePlus 3T Colette edition is a gorgeous phone that is sure to draw a lot of attention."

To refresh, the OnePlus 3T smartphone features a 5.5-inch (1080x1920 pixels) Optic AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. Under the hood, it is armed with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 821 SoC coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. It runs OxygenOS-based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and packs a 3400mAh battery that supports the company's Dash Charge (5V 4A) fast-charging technology, Pocket-lint has learned.
