Chinese actress Carina Lau is one of six female celebrities who attended recently the brand presentation of a bag manufacturer. She also took part in designing a bag which included some of her favorite things such as diamonds and cats.
Her Own Brand
The wife of actor Tony Leung, who tied the knot with Carina Lau in January after 19 years of living together, said she hopes to launch her own brand of bags soon. Although it was not the first time she tried to design a bag, Carina admitted there were times she found the process of designing a bag difficult.
However, when she saw the finished product, the actress had great satisfaction. With Carina in the event were Cherie Chung, Hilary Tsui, Lorretta Chow and Nicola Cheung. She was photographed wearing a black evening dress covered on top by a white jacket, Toggle reported.
Old Rift with Rosamund
In mid-March, when she attended the 2016 Leader of the Year Banquet, Carina said she was open to resuming her friendship with Hong Kong actress Rosamund Kwan. The rift was caused by published photo of Carina in 2015 going on a hike with Chen Tai-ming, who was then going through a divorce with Rosamund, Malaysia Chronicle reported.
The tabloid photos caused Rosamund to complain of Carina’s insensitive attitude to the press. Since then, they kept their distance from one another. However, at the banquet, after Rosamund arrived and she was asked about the rift with Carina, she said it was two years ago and she had let go of the incident.
When Carina, who arrived to the banquet five minutes after Rosamund, learned from the media that Rosamund was willing to let go of their rift, she said, “That’s great.” She disclosed that they have mutual friends and see each other occasionally. She pleaded, “Please stop making this incident bigger than it is! We are fine!”
