The former Young & the Restless co-stars started dating in May of 2021 after not meeting until COVID -19. Forcing them into lockdown at this annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic that took place on October 2nd.
They spoke about how their love story unfolded during HollywoodLife's interview. They revealed if having children was something planned or wanted by either party yet.
Sofia said that it was still "too early to tell" when talking about plans of expanding their family. She also said that since they just got married, they're still enjoying the time together and going on vacations.
While she went on and said that the first date was "hilariously" a year after being together because that's the time the world started to open up again.
The couple fell in love first and recently was able to do all the fun and interesting things together as to what couples do, somewhat going "backward." Regardless of many people taking the issue to get married during a pandemic, Sofia voices out that her experience has been "awesome" because of the lockdown.
She continues in the interview, saying that there are always these ideas growing up about marriage and how and when you'll meet the love of your life. Sofia just spoke to Justin, saying that because of the 24/7 lockdown, it was just the two of them and that getting to know a person is much easier.
Sofia said that it was just one thing that takes time to get to know the person, not distract them from being who they're not, and not going on vacations right away. So no family expansion will be happening anytime soon, as per her thoughts on the matter.
Justin agreed with his wife's sentiments as he said that it was like hanging out with your best friend and that it feels good going into the final season. He also wishes to divulge more info about it. Still, he can't, only giving a hint as he says that "everyone will be satisfied."
