NCT 127 will put up a performance for the first time on the popular American talk show "The Kelly Clarkson Show" tomorrow on November 17.
The K-pop boys' band revealed the news that they would perform their latest hit "Favorite (Vampire)" from "Favorite", which is their third repackaged album. They dropped the news via their official Twitter handle, a day after announcing the band's upcoming world tour.
Kelly Clarkson's official Twitter page also shared the details about the upcoming performance. The show will be aired on NBC at 2 PM EST Wednesday/4 AM KST Thursday.
Incidentally, it will be the Korean heartthrobs' second appearance on an American talk show. The first was when NCT 127 appeared on "The Late Late Show With James Corden" in October.
"The Kelly Clarkson Show" is a popular talk show by Kelly Clarkson, who is a globally famous singer and songwriter. The show is a signature program on NBC where a lot of internationally acclaimed artists and celebrities appear. The show is also a winner of the coveted "Emmy Awards", which are given for excellence in television.
At present, NCT 127 is gearing up to host their second solo concert named "NCT 127 2ND TOUR "NEO CITY: SEOUL - THE LINK", which will take place on December 17-19 at Seoul's Gocheok Sky Dome.
Meanwhile, the K-pop band has officially sold a cumulative of 3.58 million copies of "Favorite", their 3rd full-length album and repackage album. Consequently, the group is now in the "triple million-seller" club.
The full unit of NCT 127, which is NCT (the other sub-units being WayV, NCT U, NCT DREAM, in addition to NCT 127), are re-uniting in more than a year to drop a new, full-length album.
NCT's management agency, SM Entertainment, revealed on November 16 that the group's third full-length album "UNIVERSE" will be dropped on December 14, a year and two months after their second regular album "RESONANCE" was released in October last year.
NCT has also unveiled a teaser poster for "Universe" with 21 members. In the photo, the members are seen wearing various white, black, and blue outfits as they go down a long zigzag escalator. As per the image, 21 of the 23 present NCT members will be taking part in the album, with Winwin filming overseas and Lucas currently on hiatus.
