Although the iOS 8.2 is currently unavailable, new speculations emerged that the iOS 8.2 jailbreak will arrive on Mar. 27 or early April.
According to KpopStarz, the much awaited iOS 8.2 jailbreak is rumored to be released after the Mobile Security Summit in Beijing, China. This is a perfect time and opportunity to seed the jailbreak to iOS devices. Moreover, it is a reasonable time before the Cupertino-based tech giant officially releases the iOS 8.3 and iOS 9.
The jailbreak was anticipated from Chinese developers like TaiG and Pangu - teams that have successfully released jailbreak versions of iOS 8 updates. While the current iOS 8.1.3 put a halt on all jailbreaks in iOS 8, TaiG said that iOS 8.2 is jailbreakable and the team is currently working on its beta versions to breach its security.
Specifically, the new Chinese jailbreaking group announced in its website that it almost completed the untethered jailbreak for the new iOS version. The delay in release is due to the fact that the developer wants to ensure that the upcoming jailbreak is flawless.
The team is working on the openings on the betas of the operating system. Apple has yet to roll out patches for those openings.
However, Apple users who want to jailbreak their devices must stay away from the official version of iOS 8.2, jailbreak developer MuscleNerd posted on Twitter. The latest iOS 8.2 was released on Mar. 9 at the press event of Apple Watch and Apple MacBook.
According to Apple, 77 percent of iOS devices are already running with the latest iOS 8.
Meanwhile, if the developers happened to release the much awaited iOS 8.2 jailbreak, Apple is already working on the new iOS 8.3, which is reported to pack CarPlay features. Furthermore, the tech company is bound to announce the next generation of iOS this year at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June.
