The CW Network officially released a synopsis and promo video for the next episode of the hit comedy-drama series titled "Jane The Virgin." There will be conflict, babysitting experience and a big secret to be discovered in the "Jane The Virgin" Season 1, episode 17 titled "Chapter Seventeen."
Jane Villanueva (Gina Rodriguez) returns with a couple of issues she must sort out in the upcoming episode. "There's a lot going on," Jane declares in the promo video.
The voiceover teases the characters will be dealing passion, drama, night life and babysitting in the CW TV series. Jane experiences what it is like to be a mother through babysitting.
"How's the babysitting going?" Jane's mother Xiomara (Andrea Navedo) asks. "Not great!" Jane responds as the baby continues to cry at the background. Watch the "Jane The Virgin 1x17 Chapter Seventeen" promo video below.
Rafael Solano's (Justin Baldoni) responsibility as a father will be another issue that Jane Villanueva deals with in "Chapter Seventeen." The synopsis of "Jane The Virgin" Season 1, episode 17 teased Jane becomes worried Rafael may not be a hands-on dad to their child because of a devastating crisis that will hit the Marbella hotel.
The upcoming episode's synopsis further teased Xiomara's relationship with Alba (Ivonne Coll), her mother, will continue to have tension. Xiomara decided to move out of her mother's house and live with telenovela actor Rogelio de la Vega (Jaime Camil) in "Jane The Virgin" Season 1, episode 16 titled "Chapter Sixteen."
Alba initially thought Xiomara is not serious with her plan to live with Rogelio. Xiomara told Alba that her decision is final. A big mother-and-daughter fight happened in the Villanueva residence.
Detective Michael Cordero Jr. (Brett Dier) will be helping Rogelio's romantic relationship with Xiomara in the next episode. Rogelio returns the kindness by helping Michael come to a realization about his ex-fiancée Jane.
Elsewhere in the episode, Petra (Yael Grobglas) will discover a big secret that leaves her disturbed. It could involve Roman Zazo's (Alano Miller) mysterious twin brother Aaron.
"Jane The Virgin" will return with episode 17 titled "Chapter Seventeen" on April 6, Monday night at 9/8c on the CW Network.
