The Kenyan Government named Mohamed Mohamud-who is also known by aliases Dulyadin and Gamadhere-the mastermind of last Thursday's terrorist attack at Garissa University College in Kenya.
The Interior Ministry has put Mohamud in the Most Wanted list; the Kenyan Government also offers a reward of 20 million shillings to whoever could provide information leading to the alleged mastermind of the massacre, Euronews reports.
"We appeal to anyone with any info on #Gamadhere to share with relevant authorities and security agencies," the Interior Ministry posted on Twitter.
Families of some of the more than 147 victims of the attack at Garissa University College left a mortuary in Nairobi, Kenya on Sunday after they had identified the bodies of their loved ones. CNN reports there was one woman wailed "Why? Why? Where are you my children?" that she almost had to be carried out.
On the other hand, stories of survival and tales of massive loss continue to surface.
19-year-old Cynthia Cheroitich hid herself inside a closet, her body covered with clothes in order to survive the shooting and blazing of the al-Shabaab militants through her dorm. Her two roommates hid under their bed, however, the gunmen called them out.
Cheoitich told CNN: "(The gunmen) told them if you don't know to read then in the Muslim word, whatever, and then you lie down. And then, if you know, you go to the other side."
Despite not seeing what happened next, the teenager heard what was going on in her surroundings. She said that the militants were shooting everywhere and she did not want to open her eyes.
For the next two days, Cheroitich did not budge from where she was. Unable to get water, she then hydrated herself with body lotion. After the assault, the police went to her room and she refused to believe them at first. She was only convinced to come out the closet when the head of the university came for her.
"I was scared so much," she recollected.
