The season finale of CW TV series "Jane The Virgin" is getting near. Actress Gina Rodriguez teased in an interview the pregnancy journey of her on-screen character Jane Villanueva in the upcoming "Jane The Virgin" Season 1 finale episode.
According to a People report, Gina Rodriguez shared to the reporters at the Orgullosa's Nuevas Latinas Living Fabulosa event in New York City that she recently finished filming the "Jane The Virgin" Season 1 finale episode. The 30-year-old actress teased that the strong and shocking finale episode of the CW TV series will focus on the end of Jane's pregnancy.
Gina Rodriguez added the viewers will see Jane go through the final stages of her transformation while dealing with her pregnancy as well as her romantic relationship with hotel owner Rafael Solano (Justin Baldoni). The other storylines in the finale episode will also focus on Jane's fearlessness and confidence as a woman.
In an exclusive E!News interview, Gina Rodriguez further teased that the fans will witness how Jane Villanueva yells while giving birth in the season finale episode. "She ain't superhuman," Rodriguez stated.
Gina Rodriguez revealed that the part where Jane gives birth in the finale episode is still a really beautiful scene even with Jane's yelling. According to E!News, the Golden Globe award-winning actress plans to give birth to her career first before giving birth to kids of her own in the future.
When asked who she wants Jane to end up with, Gina Rodriguez did not give an answer. Gina Rodriguez fears she will be in so much trouble if she reveals her answer.
It is still unknown if Jane will reunite with her ex-fiancé detective Michael Cordero (Brett Drier) or Jane will spend the rest of her life with Rafael Solano, the child's biological father. For the second season of the hit comedy-drama series, Gina Rodriguez claims she does not know what storyline the writers have already planned for the characters.
It is expected that the second season will focus on how Jane and Rafael raise their child. "Jane The Virgin" Season 2 is scheduled to kick off filming in mid-August.
"Jane The Virgin" Season 1 airs on Monday nights at 9 p.m. ET on the CW Network.
