Taylor Swift and Lorde proved once again that they are not having problems with their friendship and are not frenemies as they call out the media talking about the two feuding.
The 25-year-old "Shake It Off" crooner and the 18-year-old "Royals" hit maker have been friends for years now and they are literally laughing the feuding rumors off. Swift took it to her Twitter account to directly ask the media that are constantly saying that she and Lorde are no longer friends.
She asked the media on Monday if what they meant about her and Lorde fighting was FaceTiming every now and then from the United States to New Zealand and talking about the rumors and just laughing at what the tabloids are writing about them. The statement was retweeted for more than 30,000 times and had 86,000 favorites as of today. Swift was not the only one to talk about the rumors as Lorde also responded to Swift's tweet saying that sisters are doing it for themselves referring to Swift.
According to Inquisitr, Swift called out on the report by OK! Magazine that said Lorde and Swift were fighting over something at an unnamed recording studio. The report added that Lorde told Swift their voices won't be great together as Swift wanted to do a collaboration with her.
In the latest statement of Swift, she did not confirm the report about recording a song so fans are still hopeful that these two singers will soon release a duet.
Swift and Lorde may be best of friends but they are not spending that much time together since they do not live near each other, Perez Hilton reported. According to the report, whenever Lorde makes it to the U.S., she and Swift take hikes in Los Angeles or goes on a beach escapade at Catalina Island.
