The cast, images, and details of the Naruto spinoff "Boruto: Naruto The Movie" were revealed.
The movie's official website first full movie poster of the movie was unveiled to the public along with the main cast information and movie stills. The images showed "oyako" (parent-child) tandems of Naruto and Boruto Uzumaki, as well as Sasuke and Sarada Uchida.
The press release also revealed the dubbers that will lend their voices to the characters. Yuko Sanpei will be starring as Boruto and Kokoro Kikuchi as Sarada. Sanpei said that she is happy to be a part of the family as Naruto is one of the works that is loved by everyone. Howevershe also felt pressured and is thinking of how does Boruto grew up and his ninja way.
Hearts of Naruto fans worldwide sank after the announcement that the story of Naruto will come to a close after 15 years, according to HNGN. While many people are saying "thank you" to Kishimoto, others are disappointed with the ending.
Meanwhile, right before the main series ends, "Naruto Spinoff: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring" was announced in November 2014. The new series will star the son of Naruto who will carry on his footsteps. The new manga will provide a prelude to the new era or Naruto. The manga will start serialization on Apr. 27 in Weekly Shonen Jump.
"Boruto: Naruto The Movie" is the first movie of the popular franchise that is handled solely by Kishimoto. Naruto creator Kishimoto is credited as the director, script writer and character designer of the movie. The movie will hit the cinemas in Japan on Aug. 7.
