Kardashian protégé Kendall Jenner carved her own niche different from her reality TV star family and is now known as a fashion glamazon and is one of the current in-demand models in the industry.
Jenner and fellow model Gigi Hadid were not chosen to represent Victoria's Secret in its campaign, despite being the top choices in becoming an angel.
However, lingerie giant Victoria's Secret snubbed the model as it announced the new line up of Victoria's Secret angels who will don their wings in photo shoots, commercials, and fashion shows of the brand.
The underwear fashion house is adding 10 new angels to promote the brand. The new models include Kate Grigorieva, Taylor Hill, Elsa Hosk, Martha Hunt, Jac Jagaciak, Stella Maxwell, Lais Ribeiro, Sara Sampaio, Romee Strijd, and Jasmine Tookes. The new models came from different countries and ethnicity allowing Victoria's Secret to cover every niche of the market worldwide.
The 10 new models who finally received their wings will join the ranks of veteran VS angels - Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio, Lily Aldridge, Candice Swanepoel, and Behati Prinsloo.
According to Daily Mail, the expanded Angel lineup gives Victoria's Secret the largest group of contract models in its history and the most powerful collection of established and emerging models in the world.
Meanwhile, Latino Post reported that Calvin Klein endorser Jenner is struggling in her career as a model as brands are not taking her seriously because she is part of the Kardashian-Jenner clan and is part of the hit reality TV show "Keeping Up With The Kardashians".
"You have no idea how many doors closed on me and how many adults were either initially reluctant to take a chance working with me or who outright laughed at me behind my back. It was kind of hard because all I was doing was going on go-sees, trying my best to break into this business as a teenager," Jenner told V Magazine.
