"Boruto: Naruto The Movie" US release is reportedly in the fall and Orochimaru will serve as the main villain of the new Naruto film.
It is a no-brainer that the movie of the new era of Naruto will hit the US shores due to the immense popularity of Naruto. The Naruto spinoff "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" will hit Japan in August and will most likely hit North America in the fall, according to Cross Map.
The movie's official website first full movie poster showed the images showed "oyako" (parent-child) tandems of Naruto and Boruto Uzumaki, as well as Sasuke and Sarada Uchida. The movie trailer also revealed some of the juicy details of the upcoming movie. Boruto takes after his father in terms of fighting spirit. He will train under Sasuke and will rival with Sasuke's daughter Sarada. The trailer also revealed that Orochimaru will be on the dark side and will serve as the villain in the new movie.
Meanwhile, the manga version of the new era debut in the weekly Shonen Jump. The manga, "Naruto: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring," was penned and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto. The new series will star the son of Naruto who will carry on his footsteps. However, the spinoff series will run in a limited time.
"Boruto: Naruto The Movie" is the first movie of the popular franchise that is handled solely by Kishimoto. Naruto creator Kishimoto is credited as the director, script writer and character designer in the movie.
The movie will hit Japan on Aug. 7.
