Fans of "The Vampire Diaries" already know that Elena Gilbert (Nina Dobrev) will be taking the cure to become a human once again, but they are also wondering whether or not Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) will do the same.
On Thursday night's episode entitled, "I'll Wed You in the Golden Summertime," "TVD" fans will witness the union of Alaric and Jo.
Meanwhile, Damon will contemplate as to whether or not he will follow the love of his life, Elena, and turn himself into a human or not.
Stefan (Paul Wesley) will not make Damon's life easier as he is bound to remind his brother of all the possible absurdities he could face if he turn into a human again, Latin Post reported.
In other news, although Elena's mind is already made up about turning herself into a human, her best friend Caroline (Candice Accola) will become very protective of her. Caroline would worry about Elena's life now that she's more susceptible to being targeted by vampires.
Additionally, Caroline will also contemplate on the future of her relationship with Stefan and whether or not they will decide to stay together is what fans need to watch out for this week.
Bonnie (Kat Graham), meanwhile, will have vivid nightmares that Lily is coming after her and as such, she would seek the help of Matt (Zach Roerigh) and taking her down, according to Wet Paint.
"The Vampire Diaries" will air its latest episode on Thursday at 8 p.m. ET on The CW. Following the upcoming season finale, cast member Dobrev will no longer return to the series.
