In a recent interview with TV Insider, Pratt revealed that their decision to create a fake Jack storyline was inspired by the character's happy-go-lucky nature. As a business, Jack has become the man that every woman wants to sleep with.

Also according to Pratt, the fake Jack storyline that centers around actors Peter Bergman and Eric Braeden are crucial because both of them need to be challenged with equally big stories.

Talking about the very first time Pratt suggested the storyline during one of their meetings, Phelps admitted to the publication that she got teary-eyed.

She also talked about Bergman's reaction when he was told that he will be playing to roles of fake Jack and the actual Jack, Venture Capital Post reported.

"We ask a lot of audience when we do these types of stories, and it takes very clever people to make it successful. I didn't know it was clever enough," Bergman said.

As of late, fake Jack has already woken up from his deep sleep following a serious accident. Unfortunately, he could not remember anything from his past.

According to reports, fake Jack will also develop some strong feelings for Ashley and the woman would use this as an opportunity to hurt Victor.

"The Young and the Restless" airs Mondays to Fridays on CBS.
