Video game developer and distributor Valve recently released an update for the "Dota 2" International 2015 Compendium. The update will give "Dota 2" players an additional way in acquiring Compendium Points.
The latest update from Valve will provide "Dota 2" players with an easier way to level their account, according to iDigital Times.
A new way to acquire Compendium points is by completing the 10 Hero Challenge. On this challenge, players will have to win 10 "Dota 2" games using a randomly-selected set of in-game heroes from the game's roster.
When completed, the challenge will give players 150 Compendium points. Additionally, players are allowed to complete the challenge three times giving them the chance to acquire 450 Compendium points at most.
On top of the 10 Hero Challenge, Valve also added a hero-specific challenge. This challenge can be completed during a standard "Dota 2" match and differs depending on which hero the player used.
Valve also reintroduced Item Recycling. This feature allow players to swap 10 items in exchange of 25 Compendium points. This feature will be beneficial for players whose inventory is currently full.
Lastly, Valve has opened up the poll for the 2015 "Dota 2" All-Stars event. This feature is enabled when a player logs in their account and gives them the chance to vote for their favorite player. Choosing a competitor will instantly give players an additional 50 Compendium points.
Compendium points are essential in leveling a player's International 2015 Compendium which in turn unlocks additional items, in-game character effects and Treasures. Compendium points are traditionally earned by purchasing it from Valve Store, according to Attack Of The Fanboy.
