The week on "The Young and the Restless" (Y&R) opens with drama revolving around Chelsea and Adam. According to spoilers by Soap Central and We Love Soaps, Adam's odd behaviour troubles and concerns Chelsea. Later, Chelsea seeks answers about Billy and Victoria's association.
Meanwhile, Nick and Sharon come together for their first mediation meeting. The results of it remain unknown. During the session, several people testify, including Nick, Sharon and Avery. Nick and Dylan speak in Sharon's support. As for Avery, she declares that Sharon is not stable enough to look after Faith. Nick's words at the stand makes Sharon wonder if Nick still wants her.
Elsewhere, Nick and Sage discuss their relationship. The two talk about their future. But their troubled pasts create hindrances.
Victor Newman deals with new problems revolving around his family. His family is falling apart and he must save it. He some measures to protect his family from collapse.
Kevin and Paul get into a disagreement. Kyle prevents Summer from taking a wrong step. Summer finds out that Joe is not crippled and he is able to walk. Later, Avery also finds out an important piece of information about Joe. He is forced to reveal the secret he has been hiding from Avery. Joe and Avery end up in a heated argument.
Tension increases between Neil and Hilary. As for Hilary and Devon, they talk about their future and plan to take their relationship to next level. Wedding bells may soon ring for this recently reconciled couple. But Neil is enraged and he seeks revenge from Hilary and Devon. Neil creates obstacles during their nuptials. Later, Neil and Nikki come together to spend some quality time together.
Lily notices Lauren and Cane's growing closeness and she is filled with feelings of jealousy. Marco and Adam come face to face and the duo gets into a confrontation. Mariah reveals a stunning secret. Avery faces off with Dylan and Sharon. Jack bumps into a mysterious person, Marisa. And an unlikely pair end up sharing an intimate moment.
In other news, a fan-favourite character is rumoured to be exiting "The Young and the Restless" (Y&R). According to Daytime Confidential, Avery Bailey, the character played by Jessica Collins, is said to be leaving the show. Details about how the character will be written off remain under the wraps.
A source told the aforementioned publication, that a shocking twist was planned by head writer Chuck Pratts for the character's exit storyline.
"What Chuck originally planned for Avery would have been the worst thing the soap had ever done. It would have been Armageddon," a source told the publication.
Meanwhile, it must be noted that there is no official confirmation by the associated people. Thus it is wise to consider the information as mere rumour.
