With Bryan Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" on its way to theaters, the director himself has revealed another set for his upcoming Marvel film. It is the underground mansion hallway of the Charles Xavier's school.
On June 13, Singer posted a clip on his Instagram account, where he revealed that he and the production team are doing a secret scene at the hall outside the Cerebro's room. His post got more than 6,000 likes and more than a hundred comments.
Singer also said in the clip that he and his production team are working late to finish the shot in the set. The underground mansion hallway leads to the Cerebro and it was featured in every "X-Men" film, as Charles Xavier's access to the mutants across the world.
As per Cinema Blend, the secret scene may involve various possibilities. One is the titular villain, Apocalypse, going down the hall and entering the Cerebro. Another possibility is a secret actor or character who has not been revealed by Singer in his previous posts. The secret scene may also be one of the pivotal scenes in the "X-Men" Universe.
The underground mansion hallway can also show the Danger Room in detail, according to Bam Smack Pow.
The Danger Room is a training facility of the X-Men. It was notable in its hologram usage as part of X-Men training in "X-Men: The Last Stand" and it was also the area where Xavier trained Alex Summers on how to control his laser powers.
Singer's "X-Men: Apocalypse" will feature new faces like Alexandra Shipp, Lana Condor, Olivia Munn, Kodi Smit-Mcphee, and Tye Sheridan.
The upcoming film also stars the original cast of "X-Men: First Class," which includes James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, and Lucas Till.
"X-Men: Apocalypse" is slated to hit the big screen on May 27, 2016.
