Mlais MX Base is the most recent iteration from the Shenzhen, China-based smartphone manufacturer. The preorders of the handset have already started with a price tag of $139. The handset will start shipping from July 10.

In the past couple of months, Mlais has rolled out several smartphones with competitive prices such as the Mlais M52 Red Note, Mlais M4 Red Note and Mlais M7. Compared to all the previous smarpthones that sport a 5.5-inch screen, the newer phone comes with a smaller display of 5-inch.

What sets the MX Base apart from other midrangers available at the same pricing is that it comes with a mammoth battery of 4,800 mAh capacity. Moreover, it is enabled with Quick Charging, according to the specs listed on the official Mlais website.

The Mlais MX Base is a dual-SIM handset and its 5-inch display supports a display resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. Under the hood of the device lies the MediaTek MT6735 SoC that produces a clocking speed of 1.3 GHz through its quad-core CPU. The chipset is coupled with a RAM of 2 GB.

The native storage provided on the MX Base is 16 GB. Users can use up to 64 GB microSD card on its expandable storage slot. It will come preloaded with Android 5.1 Lollipop.

It is fitted with a main camera of 8 MP and there is a 5 MP snapper at the front. It offers connectivity options like 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and more.

Mlais aims to sell its smartphones in the U.S. Europe, Australia, Russia and India. Hence, buyers from these countries can preorder the Mlais MX from Gear Best, Tiny Deal, Coolicool, and various other sites as listed on the website of Mlais.
