Jon Snow is still alive! "A Song of Fire and Ice" author George R R Martin accidentally revealed a huge spoiler for the upcoming novel "The Winds of Winter" in his latest interview.
Fans are eagerly waiting for sixth novel in this series to hit the book stands since 2011. Martin is deliberately delaying its launch time and again, according to The Christian post. Following the huge uproar on the ending of Season 5 on HBO's fantasy show "Game of Thrones," the fate of Jon Snow after he was stabbed in a mutiny was a bone of contention for the "Game of Thrones" fans.
Martin unintentionally said that Snow survived the attack in the upcoming book. There are a number of theories going around, which detail how Snow could have survived the stab wounds.
The most popular theory is of course based on the magical powers of the Red Woman, Melisandre, according The Latinos Post. She is known to be the one who knows how to bring people back from the dead and also a firm believer of Azar Ahai, whose previous avatar successfully wiped off the white walkers.
The second theory is that of Snow being a warg like Bran and Arya and had managed to transfigure his body into his dire wolf pet Ghost, thus surviving the wounds. The third theory is that of Snow returning as a white walker.
Since it is anticipated that Snow is the son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, people continue to argue that he just cannot be dead.
"The Winds of Winter" release date is yet to be revealed, but it is rumored to launch by April 2016.
