"Loyal" hit maker Chris Brown, 26, has filed legal documents in Houston, Texas on July 1, Wednesday to establish paternity of his little girl, Royalty, with his close friend Nia Guzman. The singer reportedly learned about his daughter's existence months after her birth.
Brown is said to be feuding with the baby's mother for the past couple of months over the child support money as he believes that she is demanding an exhorbitantly high amount.
Guzman is demanding $15000 a month in child support while the singer is currently paying $2,500 per month, an amount that he feels is sufficient. The singer wants the court to set the figure as well as to establish clear custody guidelines, as Guzman has been allegedly denying him the right to see his daughter at his convenience, TMZ reported.
Brown is reportedly quite confident that the court will rule in his favor with its judgement, that will include the child support money lower than $15000 and generous visitation rights.
Earlier this weekend, Brown emotionally talked about his one-year-old daughter during his speech at BET Awards in Los Angeles, saying that he is thankful to his daughter.
Brown has put out an image of a caring and loving father through his constant Instagram uploads of pics of him cuddling with his baby girl. The singer has recently celebrated his daughter's first birthday by treating her to a trip to Disneyland, Daily Mail reported.
The news of Brown fathering a child with his close friend broke out in March, while he was still in relationship with his model girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. The revealation led to an instant break-up between the two, with Tran dumping him publicly on social media.
Meanwhile, it was reported that Brown is trying to rekindle his romance with his one of his other former flames, Rihanna, whom he dated back in 2008.
