The release of the highly anticipated "Winds of Winter" novel has been delayed due to the busy schedule of author George R.R Martin. Martin attributed the delay to his "writer's block" and to the fact that he was deeply involved in promotional events for the TV series and the previous books of the series.
He recently revealed that the book will be out within this year, according to The Master Herald.
Recently, Jack Bender, who is the director of "Game of Thrones" Season 6, accidentally told a Reddit interviewer that he was able to complete the next book. This statement made the fans go in a tizzy, which made the producers of the show issue an immediate report which states that Bender got confused between the sixth season and sixth book of the series, according to News JS.
Since this interview, the director is not giving any further statements regarding the plot of the next book or season.
After the series ended last month, fans are getting pretty restless to know the fate of their beloved character Jon Snow. It is speculated that he will see a revival in the "Game of Thrones" Season 6. Kit Harrington plays the character of Snow and he was recently spotted in the public with his trademark GoT curls, which led to the speculation that he will be seen in the sixth season.
