Several Samsung consumers were disappointed with the fact that the Galaxy S6 lacked an SD card slot and it did not have a removable battery. It turns out that Galaxy Note 5 can fix a major issue of Galaxy S6.
According to SamMobile, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be the company's first device to feature the Exynos 7422 processor. Rumors suggest that the Exynos 7422 will include the electronics giant Samsung's first embedded package on package (ePOP) solution for a major smartphone.
The ePOP combines all necessary memory components into a single package, without taking any extra space. According to Samsung, the ePOP solution could save almost 40 percent of space in a traditional smartphone setup. The new memory should allow faster and longer operation of memory multi-tasking features.
Also, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is expected to feature Samsung's S-Pen stylus. It will be offered in gold, white, silver and black options.
According to rumors, the battery cell will be 4,000mAh or 4,100mAh. Moreover, the Galaxy Note 5 could feature wireless charging. It is expected that the new device will have a 16-megapixel camera. Reports also suggest that the new phablet could have a camera as powerful as 21MP in resolution.
Apart from the lacking of an SD card, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is also dragging down company's profits, The Independent reported. Samsung's claims of an estimated 20 million pre-orders for the Samsung Galaxy S6 have ended in failure. The South Korea-based company has shipped out less than 10 million smartphones out of the 60 million they manufactured.
According to Patently Apple, Samsung was trying very hard to copy Apple. The tech giant sacrificed memory-expansion slots and removable batteries to make the S6 series slimmer with better designs.
