The release of Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus has become all the more imminent in the next month as both the devices have been spotted at FCC.
When a device is spotted at FCC (a certification body in the United States), it is an indication that its arrival close at hand. The AT&T variants of the Galaxy Note (SM-N920A) and Galaxy S6 Edge Plus (SM-G928A) support 2, 4, 17 and 12 LTE bands are listed at FCC.
The Verizon versions of the Galaxy Note 5 (SM-N920V) and the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus (SM-G928V) have also visited FCC. Both the models support 2, 4 and 13 LTE bands G for Games reported.
Now that the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus have visited the regulatory body, the rumor mill is again heavily speculating their release in August. In the previous week, it was revealed that the unveil event for the Galaxy Note 5 and the Galaxy S6 Edge on Aug. 12 and the both the devices will be made available for purchase from Aug. 21.
Samsung has been launching its Galaxy Note series phablet traditionally in September since 2011 through the IFA tech event that is held at Berlin, Germany. However, this year, the Galaxy Note 5 is heavily speculated to release earlier in August in a bid to stay away from the competition from the forthcoming iPhone 6S and the iPhone 6S Plus, Phone Arena reported.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 will be featuring 5.67-inch Super AMOLED Quad HD display. It will be powered with Exynos 7422 SoC and 4 GB of RAM. It is expected to sport a metal-glass combination chassis. Hence, rumors are claiming that like the Galaxy S6, the Note 5 may not come with a removable battery and microSD slot.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is said to be larger version of the Galaxy S6 Edge. It will be sporting a dual-edged curved display and will come loaded with Exynos 7420 chip that fires up the Samsung Galaxy S6.
