'Bachelorette' alum Emily Maynard gave birth to a baby boy on July 15, Wednesday. The baby is the second child of Maynard and first with her husband, Tyler Johnson, an automotive managemement consultant.
Maynard posted an Instagram photo delivering the news of the newborn baby. "God is good. My heart can not even handle it," "The Bachelorette" alum wrote.
The baby's name is unidentified. Two months ago, Maynard and Johnson were still trying to identify what to name to the baby, Today reported.
The reality star argued that she should name their baby since his last name will be her husband's last name. If Johnson will get to name the baby, the 29-year-old said the baby's last name should be Maynard.
Leading to the birth of the baby, Maynard has been posting updates about her pregnancy on social media. The reality star posted on Jan. 9 a photo showing her pregnant body on Instagram with a caption "too much pizza." Maynard also posted a picture of a cake that was supposed to reveal the gender of the baby but turns out not giving any clue.
Maynard and Johnsongot enganged in January 2014 without the help of match making shows in which the reality star got famous. The two couple married in June 2014 in a surprise wedding at South Carolina, People reported.
The couple married at Johnson's family farm where they invited 200 guests consisted of family and friends. It was a surprise because everyone thought it was an engagement party but it turned out to be a wedding in which the couple has been planning for months.
"God brought us together. He has given me such peace about everything. I am so grateful I met him," Maynard said.
Before Maynard met Johnson, she was unsuccessful on her past relationships. Maynard had a relationship with the late NASCAR driver Ricky Hendrick who was killed in a plane crash in 2004. Hendrick is the father of her daughter named Ricki but Maynard did not know she was pregnant unti after her fiance's tragic death.
"The Bachelorette" alum got engaged to Brad Womack at the end of her season with "The Bachelor," then they split and she joined the "The Bachelorette" season 8 to pursue her love once again. Maynard became engaged to Jeff Holm in the season 8 finale in 2012 but their relationship did not work out and they eventually broke up.
The reality star said she was embarrased and ashamed of what she called as "TV stuff."
