After leaked fatality screenshots and variations, fans will finally get an official look at "Mortal Kombat X" most-wanted fighter Tremor. This time, it will be via an unveiling and a sample gameplay, as promised by developed NetherRealm Studios.
Studio Creative Head Ed Boon announced this via his official Twitter, giving hints as to when a first look and a first gameplay breakdown will be available. In his first series of tweets, Boon hinted that fans should wait for some "seismic activity" on Sunday, Game Spot reported.
This is in reference to Tremor and his power related to rock and aftershocks, as previously mentioned in his moves. A clearer hint comes in a next tweet, where he showcases a screenshot of Tremor accompanied by telling hashtags "#Tremor" "#MortalKombatX" and "#Sunday." In the latest tweet, Boon teased something big for Kombat Kast.
"New Kombat Kast this Tuesday with (Kombat Pack final? fighter) Tremor game-play breakdown," said Boon via Twitter.
Sharp-eyed fans, however, read more into the statement, questioning what the question mark related to the Kombat Pack final roster means. Fans are now speculating as to whether that means the Kombat Pack will contain more than just the three previously revealed characters and Tremor.
Coinciding with the upcoming unveil date for Tremor's DLC, Amazon is currently offering a discount on the PS4 and Xbox One version of "Mortal Kombat X." The Kollector's Edition is currently offered at a 33 percent discount, bringing down the price to only $100, Tech Times reported.
This is perfect for fans who have been holding out on buying the game, as the edition includes the base game, a Scorpion figurine created by Coarse, a Scorpion gold skin and the Kombat Pack season pass.
The Kombat Pack will include the four bonus characters. These are the previously released Jason Voorhees, Tanya, Predator and the upcoming Tremor.
