The latest edition of Japanese magazine Weekly Shounen Jump has been released with new information on and screenshots of the Team Awakening in "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4."
The screenshots showcase the three main characters, Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura teamed together, Anime News Network reported. In the feature, Naruto is in Kurama form, Sasuke in Susanoo form and Sakura with Byakugo. To achieve the Team Awakening, the characters will need to have their Storm Gauges filled.
In addition, Kaguya Otsutsuki, the newly revealed playable character for "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4," has also been featured in a string of new screenshots. Released by Bandai Namco, the screenshots show off the techniques that she can use. One of these is the ability to corner her opponents and deal with the situation, regardless of how tough it is, Siliconera reported.
This is made possible through Kaguya's well-known transportation technique. In using the technique, Kaguya is able to make full use of the environment in a battle, which is a feature that "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" has boasted of. This feature allows a particular elemental attack to make use of its most compatible terrain to suits its needs and make it stronger. It is also available to all playable characters.
Other features that have been announced for "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" include the ability to use wall-run, a wide choice of voiceover cast including Japanese, American, Brazilian and Mexican and the biggest roster to date in the franchise.
"Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" is coming to the PS4 and Xbox One this fall. Developer CyberConnect 2 has not yet provided official details on a specific release date.
