E! aired the premiere episode of "I Am Cait" season 1 on July 26.
In the episode 1, titled "Meeting Cait," Caitlyn Jenner, who is famous for winning a gold medal in the 1976 Olympics as Bruce Jenner, is shown enjoying her first few moments after the disclosure of her new identity through Vanity Fair cover, meeting her mother and sisters as Caitlyn for the first time and being supported by her family members including Kylie Jenner, Rob Kardashian, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
The reality TV series begins at 4:30am when Caitlyn is shown lying wide awake in bed panicking over young people struggling and ending their lives after failing to reveal their true gender identity. The day starts with the congratulatory calls pouring in over her appearance on Vanity Fair cover as a woman for the first time, TV Line reported.
Rob calls to tell Caitlyn how beautiful she is looking on the cover while Kim calls to informs her that her newly formed Twitter account is going to surpass the popularity of President Barack Obama in a few hours.
Next, Caitlyn is shown getting ready to meet her mother, Esther, and sisters, Pam and Lisa, who are coming over for a lunch meeting and to meet the 65-year-old for the first time in her new found identity. Caitlyn is shown nervous and fretting over the meeting, but it went well with Esther telling her emotionally that she still has the same persona.
Later, Kylie drops by and gets to meet Esther and her aunts. Pam and Caitlyn are shown sorting out her male clothes to donate them to charity. Kim and her rapper husband come to pay a visit when Caitlyn's sisters get to interact with the celeb couple.
While dodging the paparazzi, Caitlyn pays a visit to the family of the San Diego transgender teenager who recently committed suicide. The episode ended with a Trevor Hotline number flashing on the screen for people who feel suicidal, Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported.
