Mazda will be revealing its MX-5 Miata Roadster 2016 soon. The car is expected to be loaded with many new and exciting features.
Many overhauled changes are also expected to be seen in this model, according to The Latino Post. One of the major changes will be that the car will sport a bigger space and a much more compact body. It will be a very comfortable vehicle for all the sports car lovers, according to The Report News Today.
Apart from this, Mazda is also planning to moderate the high fuel consumption and make this car more economical and less expensive. The automatic version of the car will sport a mileage of 36 mpg in a fast lane and 27 mpg in the city lane. On the other hand, the manual version of the car is equipped with a mileage of 34 mpg on a highway and 27 mpg in the city lane.
The latest model is also expected to be equipped with a high powered engine. It will be installed with the SKY ACTIVE engine, which will provide the vehicle with a horse power of 155 in 2 L. It is much higher than what was seen in the previous version of the sports car. The car will also be equipped with a six speed manual transmission along with a wheel base at 15 mm.
As far as the look is concerned, the car will sport a more classic look. It is expected to show case a timeless design, according to Rod McLaughlin, who is the Line Manager with Mazda. There will also be a 12-mm leg clearance for extra comfort for the driver and the passengers.
The car is expected to be priced at $28,600.
