Laleh Mohmedi from Melbourne, Australia, takes mealtime preparation up a notch with her creation of healthy foods that resemble her two-year-old son's favorite characters on a plate and share photos of them on social media.
Mealtime for kids could get quite a challenge for most moms and a lot of them could very well take a page from the (cook)book of one ingenious foodie mom from the land down under. For Mohmedi, she takes it to Instagram to make sure no kid would ever sneer at their snack ever again.
Mohmedi shares her food art chronicles via the Instagram account Jacob's_Food_Diaries, which is currently patronized by close to 2,800 followers as of this writing.
According to Daily Mail, the cool mom would ask her son before going to bed which character does he like to see for the next day. She would then Google for some images of the chosen character and weave her magic from there.
To make sure that one of her child's everyday meals is really fun to eat, Mohmedi uses a lot of fruits, veggies, and wholemeal wraps for her creations. It usually takes the talented mom just 20 to 35 minutes to come up with one of these awesome food arts.
According to Mohmedi, her son Jacob has always been a "fantastic eater" and not a picky eater of a kid. She told Huffington Post, "He likes to tell me which parts of the character he is eating! I have always been a big advocate for healthy organic food for children, so the meals have not changed. They have just been presented differently."
There was one time when Jacob, for some reason, had asked for "The King of Pop." He would have to learn, at some point, that the "Thriller" singer Michael Jackson is no cartoon character.
